If you require an emergency appointment please call the surgery 0191 521 2282 and select dedicated line Option 2 between 08:00am and 09:30am. The receptionist will ask you some questions to establish the problem and add your name to the triage list.
The triage nurse or nurse practitioner will ring you back. An appointment will be made if appropriate, alternatively you may be referred to a walk in centre if your problem is not considered urgent for that day.
In case of an ’emergency’ or when the surgery is closed, you have below options available to you:
- If your problem is an emergency or life threatening, please call 999.
- Out of hours contact number is 111.
- If you require information on symptoms or need medical advice, please call 111.
